Shadows and light

Months ago, I did an advanced sketch of DD with his billy clubs.

And then, I didn't make anything with it.

Yesterday, I tried to pencil a tighter drawing from this sketch.

Today(at the office), I quickly remade the drawing for "shadow placing".

Back from the job I inked the drawing.

This time, the style was inspired from some really cool drawings of DD I saw on Chris Samnee's website.

It's clobberin' time!

Five reasons to prefer The Thing over the Hulk :

1. The Thing doesn't need to be angry to be strong
2. The Thing never turns dumb when transforming.

3. The Thing has blue eyes.
4. "It's clobberin' time!" sounds more funny than "Hulk is the strongest one there is!"
5. Hulk smashes, The Thing rocks.

Roof Running

Daredevil can't fly. So he has to run of roofs. Somehow, I think it's cooler than flying.

EDIT :
With black outline and smoke added

The Rob Haynes Style

No, it's not a variation of the Rob Roy... Rob Haynes is a penciler with a "cartoony" style. He did a few DD stories, some years ago. Lately, I came across some DD pictures he made and kinda dug them. So, I tried to mimic his style for a DD illustration (it's been ages I deserted my drawing board...)

Well, I don't feel I really nailed his style but it's not such a bad start (considering I haven't done any drawing in months). So, maybe next time...

EDIT : another try with black outline
